VISIT THE BEACHES OF BÉNODET FROM THE CAMPSITE
Situated in the outer suburbs of Quimper, Bénodet is a renowned seaside resort. HOW DO I GET TO BÉNODET FROM CAMPING LE HELLES?
Camping Le Helles is located 10 minutes from Bénodet, at the crossroads of several beaches in the commune of Combrit. Bénodet can be reached on foot after a leisurely 30-minute walk of 2.5 km, including the Odet ferry crossing. The same journey by bike is extremely pleasant and takes just 15 minutes. In both cases, of course, you need to know the crossing times. By car, allow around 10 minutes and 4.5 km via the picturesque Cornouaille Bridge. However, be sure to find out about parking options in Bénodet to avoid a tedious search for parking.

THE HUGE TREZ BEACH IN BÉNODET
This iconic beach is lined with stunning buildings such as the Casino and fabric huts. The town has plenty of places to eat and stroll around in between swimming or sunbathing sessions.
Bordered by Anse du Trez, this large beach is supervised during summer when it’s particularly lively. There’s a Mickey Mouse club for children and a host of events throughout the summer. It’s also great place to enjoy a swim.
LETTY BEACH: RELAXING WITH THE FAMILY AT HIGH TIDE
A little further on, you’ll find Letty beach, which is notably beside shallow waters. This beach is very popular with the locals, and is great for families.
Check Bénodet’s tide times, as you can only swim at high tide.
COQ BEACH: SUNSET AND KAYAKING IN BÉNODET
Coq beach, located between the Bénodet marina and the Trez beach gets plenty of sun during the afternoon.
You can hire water sports equipment, so why not go kayaking while admiring the sunset?
SAINT-GILLES BEACH: TOWARDS THE GLÉNAN ARCHIPELAGO
Facing the Glénan archipelago, the cove-like Saint-Gilles beach is surrounded by rocks.
Loved for its calm, this untouched cove is also great for wade fishing.
